Upcoming Events & News

36th annual Spring Heritage Festival March 15th - Come out for a fun family adventure from 10 am until 3 pm.  Immerse yourself in memories of the days of old as you watch live demonstrations of what life was like on a pioneer homestead.

Shearing sheep, spinning wool, weaving baskets and blacksmithing!  A day in the life of a pioneer homesteader was filled with hard work from sun up to sun down! All work and no play isn’t very much fun though!  That’s why the children will have a great time in the children’s activity area.  Crafts, activities and games will have your little pioneers working hard at play! Do some shopping and have lunch while you are at the event!  Craft venders will be on-site with unique, hand-made arts and crafts and food venders will have festive carnival-style food.

Come join us for a day of work and play!  Gate Admission is $5.00, Museum members are free, advance for $4 can be purchased at the Junior Museum.   For more information about the event please call 850-769-6128. Anyone interested in partcipating as a vendor, volunteer, or demonstrator please contact the museum at 769-6128.
